Common question: Where did your username come from?
You know that saying, "Another man's trash is another man's treasure"? Lazarus Trash Pit was born because I took that phrase and paired it with the Lazarus Pit from Batman lore. Ra's al ghul is one of Batman's villains that leads the League of Assassins. He uses a chemical pool called the Lazarus Pit to prolong his life and heal his battle wounds.
To sum it all up, I'm perpetually late to joining fandoms - almost usually when they're dead. So I made a Tumblr account to reblog my favorite fics, arts, gifsets -- consuming the trash, if you will -- and then I ended up making my own fanart and the name just stuck. People started calling me Laz and now here we are.
What tools/references/software do you use:
I use Photoshop and draw on a Huion GT-220 tablet. I take my own reference photos as much as I can because I'm too lazy to search endlessly online for refs when I usually know exactly what I need. My poor husband has been subjected to many "photoshoots."
